Haunted Locations

Investigator's Tip

When conducting an EVP session, make sure to speak clearly, leave a brief moment in between questions for an answer, and make sure that everyone knows not to whisper at all.

What We Do

Paranormal investigation isn't quite as glamourous as some TV shows make it out to be, especially if you do not have the money or resources that those shows have. Phoenix Paranormal approaches every investigation with the same level of professionalism, and review every piece of evidence with the same logical and educated mindset. We know that every group does things differently, and no one way is correct or incorrect. This is how we approach paranormal investigation.

Research

We like doing our homework. We utilize every tool at our disposal to research every location as thoroughly as possible. Research gives us the opportunity to understand the history behind the stories and legends that  build up over time.

We also interview eye-witnesses. This helps us get an understanding of what to look for during the investigation.

Investigate

We bring a number of tools to each investigation: cameras, meters, voice recorders, but the most important piece of equipment is our investigators themselves. We believe that in order to have a successful investigation, the investigators have to be professional, knowledgable and sincere in their beliefs and techniques. We have a good mix of skeptics and believers, but we enter into each investigation with the same goal: to gather clean, untampered evidence that can be used to validate claims of paranormal activity.

Review

And now for the fun* part. After the investigation we review every piece of evidence collected. This doesn't exactly go as fast as the TV show montages would make it seem. To give you an idea, for a 6 hour investigation with 6 investigators, we would normally have 3 mobile video cameras, 2 stationary cameras, and 3 audio recorders. We are now looking at a possible 30 hours of video and 18 hours of audio that needs to be reviewed, and we review each piece as meticulously as possible.

Once we find an anomaly in a piece of evidence, we question it thoroughly. If there is any possibility that the anomaly can be explained by non-paranormal means, then we throw it out.

*Fun in this case is purely subjective.

Compile

After we review the evidence collected, we compile a list of anything we may have found, and present the evidence, along with a detailed report, to the client. Everything presented in our investigation report is based on educated and deductive analysis.
